“The weave whisperer“
At 15, a part time job after school at a local hair salon specializing in hair extensions launched her love affair for hair.
Monica has travelled the world to study the art of extending your hair. From Paris to Spain and Amsterdam to Japan, she has trained with the worlds masters to learn the many techniques in the trade.
After arriving in Toronto in 2002, Monica was asked to become the national educator for Balmain hair extensions. After several years of teaching she then began to turn her talents to television and adding hair extensions to celebrities. She has worked on set with Canadian Idol, So you think you can Dance and most recently I Do Redo with Jessica Mulroney. Monica has also been involved in many ad campaigns , such as Birks , Hello magazine and Oxygen Fitness as well as celebrity weddings.
In 2010, she launched her own company Fakebeauty Inc. and began to manufacture her own line of high end hair extensions. She also opened her first hair salon in the prestigious neighbourhood of Yorkville, Toronto called NEISH, a tribute to her family name and the unique industry she is in. Monica continues to add some of the most talented master hair stylists in the city to her team.
Her main goal has always been to create the most seamless hair extensions that are undetectable as well as maintaining the health of your natural hair. Monica is the designer and creator behind many of the methods of hair extensions used in the industry today worldwide.
“The hair goddess”
Danielle has trained with the top stylists and colourists in New York and LA and has formed her own style and techniques from these mentors.
She specializes in beachy blondes, shiny brunettes, reds and pale platinum. She uses tape-in extensions to safely give her clients the length and thickness they’ve been looking for, while looking like they grew it on their own.
Danielle regularly works with models, influencers and brands on their content creation. She has assisted with color, styling and extensions on set for ET Canada, Cityline, The Marilyn Denis Show, Fashion magazine and Jute magazine. She worked Toronto Fashion Week for numerous brands including Mikhael Kale, Narces, Mackage, Sid Neigum, and Hayley Elsaesser.
Danielle’s personal mission is to make sure your extensions match, your highlights blend and that your curls will never look like you’re headed to prom.
Danielle has now brought her talents to the Neishhair team to master the technique of our unique seamless weft installation created by Monica Neish
“The trend setter”
Kathleen is a stylist who boasts an impressive artistic background. Skilled as a painter, her creativity in that area translated perfectly to her career in hair, bringing a unique touch to her hair creations.
Since entering the industry in 2015 Kathleen has worked to expand her craft, working with multiple colour lines and with experience in working on looks seen on CityLine Marilyn Dennis and ET Canada.
Kathleen specializes in mega blondes, and cutting. Since joining the Neish Hair team Kathleen has trained 1 on 1 with master extension artist Monica Neish to master the art of the seamless weft technique, marrying together her eye for colour, with beautiful seamless extension transformations.
She prioritizes giving her clients a warm, and inviting experience where they feel comfortable and informed about every step of the process of their hair transformation.
“The triple threat”
Jessica started in the industry in 2013 when she enrolled in the Aveda Institute, Toronto. Completed both institute and academy programs and where she was then scouted to educate for Aveda Institutes Canada. She taught cut and colour at the institutes in both Toronto & Calgary.
She then moved to NEISHHAIR to learn extensions and add to her repertoire of skills as a hairstylist.
Specializing in hair colour and extensions, Jessica loves to create a look from start to finish. With her ability to cut, colour, style and install extensions, she really loves to be able to do it all.
Jessica has an eye for colouring and has mastered the art and techniques of the most difficult balayage, hair painting and foiling.
